About
How it all began
I’ve always been deeply inspired by the teachings of the Buddha and sincerely believe the teachings are able to bring peace—both to the mind and to the world.
Back in 2019, I was fostering homeless cats, with many coming and going from my home. One cat, however, wasn’t adopted by anyone, and over time, he became a part of my family. When he first arrived, he was very thin, but with care and nourishment, he grew into a strong, healthy, and graceful cat. He has a calm presence and often keeps me company while I draw. His majestic appearance reminded me of a lion, so I named him "Siha," which means "lion" in Pali.
This gentle companion sparked the idea of creating a story centered around a cat as the main character. Alongside other stray cats from the neighborhood, Siha embarks on a journey in search of happiness, guided by the Dhamma.
My hope is that these comics will be both practical and meaningful, helping readers find peace and inspiration through Siha’s wisdom. I truly believe that at the root of suffering is ignorance, and that through wisdom and understanding, it can be overcome. That’s why I’m committed to sharing the Dhamma through these stories.
Thanks to your support, Siha the Wise continues to grow online with new weekly content. So far, we’ve published two books featuring favorite posts with original illustrations, and in 2025, we’re excited to release a new children’s book titled The Treasure.
Thank you for being part of this spiritual journey with me.
May you be well and happy.
