Wat Arun, also known as the "Temple of Dawn," is a Buddhist temple in Bangkok, located in Thonburi on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River. Dating back to the 17th century, it is known for its majestic central prang, which is adorned with colourful porcelain and seashells. The temple shimmers beautifully at sunrise and sunset. The jigsaw also features the event of the Royal Barge Procession.

This painting was inspired by a trip to the site, and it captures the energy of the place and the people are depicted through whimsical cats.
